The new type of high-capacity photon switching systems based on the two-stage $256\times256$ switch are proposed in this work for the first time. The main advantage of this type of photon systems is the constant period between optical signals required for non-blocking property of the switch. This period is equal to four bits for the systems with any number of inputs. The method of circuit complexity calculation of proposed high-capacity photon switching systems is developed in this work for the first time. The numerical calculations of the complexity and comparison with the crossbar scheme are performed. The results show the gain in circuit complexity of the presented schemes in comparison with the strictly non-blocking crossbar scheme.
